Has the show gone too far. I have to say so. It's not even as good as it was the first year. Stupid storylines like the guy chained in the basement mixed with controversial gay teenage kissing is just a little bit too much for me to care to watch anymore.

At first it was just a murder mystery with humorous sideline stories. Now I'm not sure what it is. It's all over the place with no direction. It seems like it's only purpose is to be yet another vehicle for hollywood to tell America how to think about moral issues. I'm sorry ABC I'm just not in the mood for your propaganda right now. I want to be entertained not question the morals I grew up with.

I agree. I loved the first season of the show and couldn't miss an episode, but when they showed the two boys kissing, I had to tune out. The Desperate Housewives writers need to realize that the shock factor only goes so far before they start to loose viewers. Well, it looks like they've lost at least 2, and I'm sure we aren't the only ones.
